Sugar Skull Maang Tikka
Our Sugar Skull Maang Tikka is inspired by the beautiful Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). In Mexican culture, the sugar skull symbolizes the departed soul. They are made in abundance to serve as colourful offerings at altars that honour the dead. The festival is a vibrant and bright celebration of the lives of the deceased with food, drink and parties!
It is handcrafted from 80% recycled brass with a Glossy Silver plating and decorated with hues of turquoise, yellow and red enamel, creating a contrast of earthy colours in a dark, yet festive motif. The cable chain is linked with multi-coloured enamelled hearts.
